Shipping Company from Abu Dhabi to Saudi Arabia | Villa Furniture Moving & Car Shipping from Abu Dhabi and Al Ain

With Al Saif International Shipping, we collect your shipment from Khalifa City, Mussafah, Al Reem Island or Al Ain, and it drives straight down the western road from Abu Dhabi to Ghuwaifat and on to the Saudi Al Batha crossing. It reaches Riyadh, Dammam, Khobar and Al Ahsa in 2–4 days and Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah in 4–6 days — usually about half a day ahead of Dubai shipments, because Abu Dhabi is closer to the border. Prices start from SAR 65 per parcel, SAR 5,100 for villa furniture and SAR 1,100 for a sedan. Call or WhatsApp: 0555915287.

🛣️ The Abu Dhabi trip file

  • Route: Abu Dhabi or Al Ain → western road → Ghuwaifat → Al Batha → your Saudi city.
  • Abu Dhabi’s advantage: about half a day closer to the border than Dubai.
  • By road: 2–4 days to Riyadh and the Eastern Province, 3–5 days to Qassim, 4–6 days to Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah, 5–7 days to Tabuk and Abha.
  • By air: 1–2 days to Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam.
  • Starts from: SAR 65 per parcel, SAR 880 per room, SAR 2,300 per apartment, SAR 5,100 per villa, SAR 6,500 per full truck.

Shipping from Abu Dhabi to Saudi Arabia: a direct road to the border

Abu Dhabi lies on the same road that leads to the Ghuwaifat crossing. A truck loaded in Abu Dhabi does not need to pass through Dubai or the northern emirates; it heads west through the Al Dhafra region to the border. That is why Abu Dhabi shipments reach the crossing about half a day before Dubai’s, and the time to Riyadh and the Eastern Province is usually close to the lower end of the range.

At Ghuwaifat the UAE exit formalities are completed, then the truck crosses to Al Batha, where its details and contents list are submitted to ZATCA, and after clearance it continues to your city. It is the only land crossing between the two countries, so every furniture and car shipment from Abu Dhabi passes through it.

Times from Abu Dhabi to Saudi cities

Saudi city By road, door to door By air
Riyadh 2–4 days (usually near the lower end) 1–2 days
Dammam, Khobar, Al Ahsa 2–4 days (usually near the lower end) 1–2 days via Dammam airport
Qassim 3–5 days via Riyadh airport
Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah 4–6 days 1–2 days via Jeddah airport
Tabuk, Abha, Khamis Mushait 5–7 days via Jeddah or Riyadh airport

These times are measured from Dubai; a shipment from Abu Dhabi is about half a day ahead, and Al Ain is close to Abu Dhabi’s timing. We also deliver to Taif, Hail, Jubail, Jazan, Najran and other cities.

Shipping from Abu Dhabi to Riyadh

Riyadh is a frequently requested destination from Abu Dhabi, especially for families whose work has moved to the capital. After clearance at Al Batha the truck heads to Riyadh, and we deliver to northern districts such as Al Malqa, Al Narjis and Al Yasmin as well as the east, west and south, calling the consignee before arrival to set the unloading time.

Shipping from Abu Dhabi to Dammam and Khobar

The Eastern Province takes about the same time: from Al Batha the truck heads north to Al Ahsa, then Dammam, Khobar, Dhahran and Jubail, with door delivery and assembly as in every other city.

Shipping from Abu Dhabi to Jeddah and the west

Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah are further from the border, so the shipment needs 4–6 days and the price is a little higher because of the distance, with door delivery and assembly.

Crossing Ghuwaifat and Al Batha

Some boxes may be opened at Al Batha for inspection, so we number every box and note its contents, and we prepare the contents list, copies of your passport and Saudi ID or iqama, and the consignee’s details in Saudi Arabia before the truck leaves Abu Dhabi. Any applicable duties are calculated according to the regulations in force at the time of shipping.

Pickup across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain

  • Khalifa City: villas and large homes whose furniture usually needs a dedicated truck.
  • Al Reem Island: residential towers that require a move-out permit and an advance service-lift booking.
  • Mussafah: the industrial area, with warehouses for goods and equipment.
  • Al Ain: villas, farms and large family homes, collected on our Abu Dhabi runs.

We also reach the rest of Abu Dhabi island and the surrounding areas, with the pickup date set in your quote.

Shipping from Al Ain to Saudi Arabia

Al Ain is a city of villas and open space, and many of our customers there are large families moving a whole home with majlis seating, cabinets and appliances. We send a crew of the right size and a truck big enough for villa furniture, dismantle and pack everything at the house, and the truck then joins the western road to Ghuwaifat.

Because Al Ain homes often have heavy Arabic majlis sets, large carpets and built-in cabinets, we ask about them when you request a quote, so we bring the right covers and tools and decide in advance whether each piece needs dismantling or moves as it is, keeping pickup day on schedule.

Area-by-area pickup notes in Abu Dhabi

Khalifa City: villas with wide entrances where the truck can usually park at the door; majlis and garden furniture are common, so we set the crew size by the number of rooms.

Al Reem Island: towers with basement loading bays and scheduled service lifts; we need the move-out permit before the date and choose a truck whose height fits the car park entrance.

Mussafah: warehouses and workshops, with forklift loading for pallets and heavy equipment during warehouse hours.

Al Ain: family homes and farms away from central Abu Dhabi, so we schedule pickup there early in the day so the truck makes the western-road run.

Worked example: a family moving from an Al Ain villa to Dammam

Take a family in a five-bedroom villa in Al Ain, with a large majlis and garden furniture, moving to Dammam with two cars: a sedan and an SUV.

  1. Estimate: a video call covering every room, the storeroom and the garden, then an itemised quote: the villa from SAR 5,100, the sedan from SAR 1,100 and the SUV from SAR 1,400.
  2. Pickup day: a crew of the right size dismantles the rooms and wraps the majlis and carpets, a dedicated truck takes the villa, and a carrier takes both cars.
  3. The western road: the truck leaves Al Ain for Abu Dhabi and Ghuwaifat, then crosses Al Batha for clearance.
  4. In Dammam: the shipment arrives in 2–4 days, usually near the lower end; the furniture is assembled and both cars are delivered to the address.

In this example a dedicated truck works out cheaper for the family than splitting the furniture across several shared trips.

Shipping prices from Abu Dhabi to Saudi Arabia

Shipment Starts from
Parcel up to 5 kg SAR 65
Boxes (per kg) SAR 7.5
One room of furniture SAR 880
2–3 bedroom apartment SAR 2,300
Villa SAR 5,100
Sedan SAR 1,100
SUV SAR 1,400
Car on an enclosed carrier SAR 2,300
Pallet of goods SAR 750
Full truck SAR 6,500

The further the Saudi city is from Al Batha, the higher the price, so delivery to Abha or Tabuk differs from delivery to Riyadh. The itemised quote confirms the final amount.

How to save when shipping from Abu Dhabi

  • The cheapest way to move a few items is a shared truck combining Abu Dhabi and Al Ain shipments.
  • For a whole villa, a dedicated truck can work out cheaper than several separate loads.
  • Sell or donate old pieces before shipping.

Villa and apartment furniture from Abu Dhabi to Saudi Arabia

Abu Dhabi shipments tend to be larger, because much of the housing is villas in Khalifa City and Al Ain. So we start with a visit or a video call to estimate the volume, then decide the crew size and truck type.

Dismantling and packing

Bedrooms, large wardrobes and dining tables are dismantled, with screws kept in numbered bags with each piece. Majlis seating and sofas are wrapped in plastic and fabric covers, wood in bubble wrap and heavy cardboard, and glass and ornaments in divided boxes. In Al Reem Island towers we time loading to the service-lift slot and the move-out permit.

Assembly in Saudi Arabia

On arrival the team unloads the truck, carries pieces to the rooms, assembles bedrooms and wardrobes, and checks every item against the contents list with you. Insurance for valuable items can be added on request.

Preparing the villa before the team arrives

Loading a whole villa in Abu Dhabi or Al Ain goes quicker when it is prepared ahead. Gather storeroom and roof items in one room, separate what is being shipped from what you will leave or donate, and mark it clearly. Empty wardrobes into bags or boxes and leave heavy drawers empty so they come apart easily. If there is a kitchen or AC units you want moved, tell us before the date so the right technician comes. Finally, tell the team which room in your Saudi home each group of boxes belongs to; we write the room name on the boxes in Abu Dhabi, which makes unpacking on arrival easier.

Car shipping from Abu Dhabi to Saudi Arabia

Your car is loaded onto a professional car carrier outside your home in Abu Dhabi or Al Ain and delivered to your Saudi address. An open multi-car carrier starts from SAR 1,100 for a sedan and SAR 1,400 for an SUV; an enclosed carrier starts from SAR 2,300 and suits new and luxury cars and the large SUVs common in Abu Dhabi.

The car needs its UAE Mulkiya, an export certificate from Abu Dhabi traffic and the owner’s papers. Import conditions in Saudi Arabia are set by ZATCA and change over time, so confirm them before shipping according to the regulations in force at the time of shipping. Before handover, photograph the car from every side and remove your belongings.

Boxes and gifts from Abu Dhabi

A parcel up to 5 kg starts from SAR 65 and boxes from SAR 7.5 per kg, travelling on shared trucks. This suits students, people sending clothes and gifts to family, and an employee sending belongings ahead of the family. Write the consignee’s name, mobile number and city on every box.

Goods and equipment from Mussafah and Khalifa Port

Mussafah is an industrial area that sends goods, equipment and spare parts to the Saudi market. We collect pallets there from SAR 750, or a full truck from SAR 6,500 that crosses Ghuwaifat directly. For large, non-urgent volumes we ship a full sea container from Khalifa Port to Dammam or Jeddah port. Documents needed: commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin.

Household furniture and cars are not shipped by sea on this route; they go by road, where door delivery is simpler and the trip is shorter.

For traders and companies in Mussafah

Companies in Mussafah send equipment, spare parts, building materials and general goods to the Kingdom. Because Abu Dhabi is on the direct road to Ghuwaifat, a full truck from Mussafah reaches the border without crossing Dubai traffic, which suits shipments with a delivery date at a project or warehouse.

  • For heavy equipment we choose the truck by weight and dimensions, and ask for photos and measurements before quoting.
  • Prepare the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, and make sure quantities match.
  • For large, non-urgent volumes, compare a full truck with a sea container from Khalifa Port.
  • Confirm the import requirements for your type of goods according to the regulations in force at the time of shipping.

We deliver in the Kingdom to your warehouse or project site in Riyadh, the Eastern Province or Jeddah, with loading photos and the truck number.

Air freight from Abu Dhabi to Saudi Arabia

For documents, samples, urgent spare parts and prescribed medicines, air freight from Abu Dhabi delivers in 1–2 days to King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah or King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. It is priced on actual or volumetric weight, whichever is higher; volumetric weight = length × width × height in cm ÷ 6000.
