Wanet Furniture Moving in Jeddah | Appliances, Single Pieces and Errands Inside and Outside Jeddah

Wanet Furniture Moving in Jeddah | Appliances, Single Pieces and Errands Inside and Outside Jeddah

When your load is too small to justify a dyna, a wanet for furniture moving in Jeddah from Muasasat Al Saif does the job: a fridge or washer, a sofa or desk, a showroom or Haraj purchase, boxes between two homes, or an errand run for a shop. We send a pickup with a driver, add a worker for loading and unloading when needed, and strap and cover every load. We work across Jeddah, from Obhur and Al Shati to Al Safa, Al Samer and the south, and take small loads out to Makkah, Taif, Madinah and beyond. A trip inside Jeddah starts from SAR 140, rising with distance, waiting time and number of pickup and drop-off points. Send your request and a photo through our quote request page.

Wanet runs we do every day

  • Appliances: fridge, washer, freezer, oven, window AC.
  • Single pieces: sofa, single bed, desk, table, small cabinet.
  • Purchases: from furniture and appliance showrooms or used-furniture markets.
  • Shop items: light stock, shelving, small equipment, event supplies.
  • From: SAR 140 per trip inside Jeddah; outside Jeddah by destination.

Who a wanet suits

A wanet is a light pickup with an open rear bed, nimble and easy to park, ideal for quick runs that don’t merit a dyna and a full crew. It fits three situations: one or two large items, a set of boxes and light belongings, or a run with two or three calls in a day. Typical callers: an employee who bought a new fridge and won’t wait for showroom delivery, a family delivering a sold sofa to its buyer, a student moving a desk and book boxes, a shop owner shifting shelving from the warehouse. A wanet is not for a full bedroom; the big wardrobe and bed frame need a wider, higher-sided bed, which is where a dabab or dyna comes in.

Wanet prices in Jeddah

Trip From Notes
Wanet inside Jeddah SAR 140 Vehicle and driver; a worker can be added
Dabab for a room-size load SAR 280 When items exceed a wanet
Dyna trip SAR 185 Two rooms or more
Carpenter SAR 140 per room Bed, bookcase, cabinet
Split AC removal only SAR 45 per unit Remove and refit from SAR 140
Winch for a high-floor piece SAR 280 When it won’t fit the stairs or lift

Distance (Al Hamdaniyah to Al Sanabel is not Al Safa to Al Marwah), waiting at a showroom while paperwork is done, extra addresses, extra workers for a big fridge going to a third floor without a lift, and late-night or rush-hour runs all move the price.

Loading and strapping

A small open bed leaves no room for guesswork. The fridge goes upright on a blanket with one strap to the front of the bed and another to the side; the washer sits firm beside it. A sofa rides on its side, wrapped, if it won’t lie flat, and boxes fill the gaps. A tensioned cover goes over everything so the wind can’t lift it on the expressway. On Haramain Road or King Abdullah Road, higher speeds mean more wind, so we add straps; in inner streets speed bumps are what shake loads, so we pack gaps tight. Ask the showroom to keep appliances in their original cartons, never accept a fridge laid flat, and lock a washer’s drum with its transit bolts if you have them.

Packing for short runs

Even a short run needs wrapping, because an open bed sits under Jeddah’s sun and humidity. Wood gets a blanket then stretch film, corners get card, glass and mirrors get bubble wrap, and fabric gets cloth before plastic so it doesn’t sweat. At midday the metal bed gets very hot, so we put blankets under the load as well as over it to protect plastic and leather.

Shop runs, events and newcomers

Small shop owners book wanets for display shelving, light stock from the warehouse or a small display fridge. Event organisers use them for folding chairs, tables and hospitality gear to a hall or rest house, and back again late at night. These runs come with fixed times and several pickup points, so we confirm item counts, pickup points and arrival time, and allow for evening traffic on Tahlia, Palestine and Sari streets. If it’s more than one bed can carry, we send two wanets together rather than back-to-back runs. Students and newly arrived employees buying a room piece by piece can group purchases into one day: we call at the showroom, then the appliance shop, then deliver everything in one combined run.

Wanet, dabab or dyna?

One or two appliances or a single piece of furniture: wanet. Boxes and light items that don’t fill a room: wanet. A full bedroom: dabab. A two-to-three-bedroom flat: dyna, with full apartment service from SAR 465. A villa: closed truck, full service from SAR 1,120.

Wanet trips outside Jeddah

Plenty of requests leave the city: a sofa for family in Makkah, a fridge for a rest house in Taif, a student’s things for Madinah, tools for a shop in Rabigh. We price these as a small load on the route and carry them strapped and covered.

Jeddah to Approx. distance Small load from
Makkah about 80 km SAR 560
Taif about 170 km SAR 650
Yanbu about 330 km SAR 930
Madinah about 420 km SAR 930
Rabigh, King Abdullah Economic City, Thuwal Along the coastal road north Quoted once we know the load

The Taif road climbs the escarpment, so we check straps before the ascent and never overload the bed. Some sites outside Jeddah, such as gated university or residential compounds, need entry approval that the receiver arranges with their employer before we arrive.

Delivering sold or donated furniture

Families selling a sofa or bed online often need it delivered to the buyer, or want to donate furniture to a charity that accepts used items. We collect, wrap it so it arrives as the buyer saw it in the photos, and deliver to the address. Photograph the piece before loading and share the photos with the buyer to avoid disputes. Once the large pieces are out, we can arrange cleaning as an optional extra if you’re handing the flat back.

What’s included

A wanet trip includes the vehicle and driver, strapping and cover, and the driver’s help with light items. On request: one or two workers for heavy pieces and upper floors, a carpenter, AC technician, packing materials and winch. Short storage can be arranged if the receiver isn’t ready, priced by volume and duration.

Example: a fridge and washer to Al Rabwah

A woman bought a used two-door fridge and an automatic washer from a second-hand appliance market in south Jeddah; her flat is on the second floor in Al Rabwah with a small lift. We sent a wanet and two workers, checked both appliances with her before loading, locked the washer drum and loaded the fridge upright. The drive took about thirty-five minutes. The fridge didn’t fit the lift, so the two workers carried it up the stairs. The price started from SAR 140 plus the second worker, stated in the message before the day.

Delivery and after

We carry items into the room you choose, not just to the building entrance, remove straps and covers, set the appliance in place and remind you to wait at least two hours before switching on the fridge. Items needing assembly, like a desk or single bed, are assembled on the spot if a carpenter was booked. Please check everything with us before we leave.

Not on the wanet, timing and common mistakes

Documents, gold, cash, portable devices and medicines stay in your car; we don’t carry full gas cylinders, fuel, flammable chemicals or animals in the bed. In summer book mornings or after Asr, especially for fabric or leather; month-end is busy, and in Ramadan after Iftar is easiest; on rainy days we use a waterproof cover. Common mistakes: booking a wanet for a full bedroom, carrying appliances unstrapped on an expressway, laying a fridge flat because the bed is short, not checking a used appliance before loading, and forgetting to mention a high floor without a lift. Ask whether the price includes a worker, send a photo of the load, and get the price in writing as a message before the day, especially for trips outside Jeddah.
