Furniture Movers in Qassim | Buraidah, Unaizah & Al Rass with Majlis Dismantling and Dust-Safe Packing
Al Saif moves homes across Qassim’s three main cities, Buraidah, Unaizah and Al Rass, and between them. We handle apartments, villas and the big Qassim family houses with their two majlis rooms and outdoor annexes: dismantling bedrooms, wardrobes and kitchens, packing against dust and heat, loading, transporting and reassembling everything in your new home. A room starts from SAR 280, a two- or three-bedroom apartment from SAR 560 and a villa from SAR 840, rising with volume, floor and distance. Send photos and both district names through the quote request page.
🏜️ What moving in Qassim looks like
- Homes run large: men’s and women’s majlis rooms plus an annex mean more volume than the bedroom count suggests.
- Dust and heat: dry summers and sandstorms, so everything is sealed.
- Between cities: Buraidah to Unaizah or Al Rass and back with the same crew.
- From: SAR 280 per room, SAR 45 for a dabab, SAR 140 for a pickup.

These are in-city rates. A move between two cities in the region adds a distance charge, shown as its own line in the quote. Other things that push the price up: big floor-seating majlis sets, the contents of annexes and storerooms, a kitchen to refit, the distance itself, and three-storey walk-ups that may need the winch.
Moving between Buraidah, Unaizah and Al Rass
Unaizah is about 30 km from Buraidah and Al Rass roughly 80 km. That is not long-distance moving, but it is more than a local hop, so we treat it as a middle case: the same crew dismantles and loads in one city and assembles in the other, usually on the same day, with the load strapped well because highway speeds and the speed bumps at town entrances shake a loose load. Teachers and employees whose workplace changed, and Qassim University students living near Al Mulaida, make up much of this work. We also move to Al Bukayriyah, Al Mithnab, Al Badaye, Riyadh Al Khabra and other towns in the region, each priced by distance.
Farms and rest houses
There are plenty of farms and istirahas around Buraidah and Unaizah. Some families live on them all year; others take hospitality furniture out for the winter season and bring it back. Access roads can be dirt, gates can be too narrow for a truck, and the main house can be far from the annex. A photo of the entrance tells us which vehicle to send, and if needed we load at the gate and use a hand trolley. Long floor-seating sets, shades, metal garden furniture and coffee gear are dismantled where possible, metal is wrapped so it cannot scratch other pieces, and seating is bundled by room so it can be laid out the same way.
Smaller jobs are common too. A student moving from near the university, or a new employee with one room of furniture, needs a pickup and two movers, from SAR 140. A small fridge and washer can go by dabab from SAR 45. New furniture from Buraidah showrooms can be delivered and assembled, with the carpenter from SAR 140 per room.

In the old parts of Buraidah and Unaizah, traditional courtyard houses sit on lanes a truck cannot turn into. The truck waits on the main road, a small dyna or dabab shuttles, and anything too big for a narrow door is dismantled inside. Old wooden chests and cabinets that matter to the family get extra wrapping and ride away from heavy pieces.
Big Qassim houses: dismantling and assembly
A typical Qassim house is bigger than its bedroom count: four bedrooms, but also a men’s majlis, a women’s majlis, a living room, a dining room and an outdoor annex. Bedrooms come apart drawers first, then doors, body and bed, each screw set bagged on its piece. Wall wardrobes are taken down panel by panel and numbered. Floor seating and cushions are wrapped and bundled per majlis. Kitchens are measured at the new house first, upper cabinets before lower. Split ACs are removed by a technician who recovers the gas; window units travel upright. TV and curtain fitting can be added.

Packing for dust and heat
Qassim is dry most of the year, so the enemy is dust and sun rather than humidity. A sandstorm can roll in mid-load and fill exposed fabric in minutes, and a midday sun on an open truck dries wood and softens the glue in pressed-board furniture. Sofas, mattresses and floor seating are sealed in full plastic, cartons taped on both sides, mirrors carried upright between boards, and we prefer a closed box, especially between cities. Winter mornings are cold and rain is possible, so loads are covered and cartons never left in an open yard.

Winch and vehicles
Most Qassim villas are two floors with a wide staircase, so the winch is needed less often: mainly for three-storey walk-ups or an upstairs master bedroom with a narrow stair, from SAR 185.

- Dabab: one or two items within a city.
- Pickup: a student’s or bachelor’s room.
- Dyna: a two- or three-bedroom apartment.
- Closed truck: villas, big houses and moves between Buraidah, Unaizah and Al Rass.
Included, extras and inspection
Included: dismantling, standard packing, loading, in-city transport, carrying into rooms and assembly. Extras on request: winch, kitchen, ACs, premium packing, storage, cleaning, TV and curtain fitting, and the distance charge between cities. A free inspection is worth it for big houses with annexes, because one visit shows door widths, wardrobe heights and the walk from the door to the truck far better than photos.
Example: Ar Rayyan in Buraidah to Al Ulya in Unaizah
A teacher transferred to Unaizah lived with his family in a three-bedroom second-floor flat with a lift in Ar Rayyan, Buraidah. They moved three bedrooms, a floor majlis, a dining table, a fridge, a washer, two split ACs and a wooden kitchen to refit. One closed truck, four movers, a carpenter and an AC technician started after dawn, left before noon, reached Unaizah in about half an hour and finished assembly by sunset. Cost started from SAR 560 for the flat, SAR 230 for the ACs and SAR 370 for the kitchen, from SAR 1,160 in total, plus the distance charge between the two cities.
Before the day, timing and offers
- Sort the annex and storeroom days ahead and decide what goes.
- Defrost and dry the fridge; photograph TV and router cables.
- Check power and water at the new house and name each room for the supervisor.
- Gold, cash, title deeds, papers, medicines and laptops travel with you, not in the truck. Gas cylinders, fuel, used charcoal, pesticides and open paint stay out of the truck.
Summer is fierce, so we start at dawn and aim to finish loading before midday. Winter is comfortable but cold early. Month-end and school holidays are busy, the date season crowds farm roads and markets around Buraidah, and in Ramadan we work after Asr and at night. A low figure that never asks about the majlis, annex or kitchen is incomplete; insist on an itemised quote naming the vehicle and who assembles, and never pay in full upfront.
If the new house is still being finished, we store furniture wrapped on pallets in a closed, dust-protected warehouse, and post-move cleaning is an optional extra that new houses usually need. Common mistakes: pricing by bedrooms only, leaving seating in the yard to gather dust, moving at midday in an open dyna, and moving into a house still covered in construction dust.
Moving beyond Qassim
We also move from Qassim to Riyadh, Hail, the Eastern Province, Jeddah and elsewhere, and into Qassim from those cities, in closed trucks with heavier packing and a strapped load. Request your Qassim moving quote with photos.

Frequently asked questions
Can you move from Buraidah to Unaizah in one day?
Usually yes. It is about 30 km, the same crew dismantles and reassembles, and a distance charge is added to the quote.
What does a villa move in Qassim start from?
From SAR 840, rising with majlis rooms, annexes, kitchen and AC units.
Why do you ask about the majlis and annex, not just bedrooms?
Because men's and women's majlis rooms and an outdoor annex can equal several bedrooms of volume, changing the vehicle and crew size.
How do you protect furniture from sandstorms?
Full plastic on sofas, mattresses and seating, cartons taped on both sides, and a closed truck.
Do you move rest-house and farm furniture?
Yes. The vehicle is chosen from a photo of the entrance, and shades, garden furniture and seating are dismantled and bundled.
How much is a dabab within Buraidah?
From SAR 45 for one or two items within the city.
I'm a Qassim University student. What option suits me?
A pickup with two movers from SAR 140; if it is just a fridge and washer, a dabab is enough.
Do you move to Al Rass, Al Bukayriyah and Al Mithnab?
Yes, each priced by distance; Al Rass is roughly 80 km from Buraidah.
Is the inspection free?
Yes, and it is worth it for big houses with annexes because it reveals door widths, wardrobe heights and truck access.
When should I move in a Qassim summer?
At dawn, aiming to finish loading before midday, and never in an open truck in the heat.
Can you store furniture while my house is being finished?
Yes, wrapped on pallets in a closed, dust-protected warehouse, priced by volume and duration.
Do you move from Qassim to Riyadh or Hail?
Yes, in closed trucks with heavier packing and a strapped load.
