Furniture Moving from Jeddah to Qassim | Delivery to Unaizah, Al Rass, Al Mithnab & Al Bukayriyah

Furniture Moving from Jeddah to Qassim | Delivery to Unaizah, Al Rass, Al Mithnab & Al Bukayriyah

The first thing we ask anyone moving to Qassim is: which town exactly? Qassim is not just Buraidah, and the distances between Unaizah, Al Rass, Al Mithnab, Al Bukayriyah and Al Badaye change both the schedule and how the truck is loaded. Muasasat Al Saif handles furniture moving from Jeddah to Qassim and all its towns. We collect from any Jeddah district, dismantle and pack, load a closed truck that travels via Madinah, then unload and reassemble in your town, and if needed we split the load between two homes in two different towns. A room starts from SAR 560, a mid-size apartment from SAR 1,120 and a villa from SAR 1,850, rising with volume and distance within the region. Send your details through the quote request page.

🌾 Qassim means its towns, not only its capital

  • Split delivery: two towns on the same trip on request.

Furniture moving from Jeddah to Qassim: towns and distances

The truck covers about 420 km from Jeddah to Madinah, then heads northeast on Highway 60 through Al Hanakiyah and enters Qassim from the west. From there destinations spread out: Unaizah, Al Badaye and Al Rass in the centre and southwest, Al Mithnab south of Unaizah, and Al Bukayriyah and Uyun Al Jiwa west and north of Buraidah.

Town Approx. from Buraidah Approx. from Jeddah Driving from Jeddah
Unaizah about 30 km about 950–980 km 11–13 hours
Al Bukayriyah about 35 km about 950 km 11–12 hours
Al Badaye about 50 km about 940 km 10–12 hours
Al Mithnab about 65 km about 1,000–1,050 km 12–13 hours
Al Rass about 90 km about 900–950 km 10–12 hours
Riyadh Al Khabra, Uyun Al Jiwa 30–50 km about 950 km 11–12 hours

Figures are approximate and depend on where you live in Jeddah and where the new home is; some farm houses are several kilometres from the town centre.

Prices from Jeddah to Qassim towns

Size From Note
Room or small load SAR 560 University student or single employee
Two- to three-bedroom apartment SAR 1,120 Full service with basic assembly
Four to five rooms SAR 1,700 Family home with majlis and living room
Villa SAR 1,850 After a visit or photos

Al Mithnab and distant farms can cost slightly more for the extra kilometres, as can a second delivery town. Extras in Qassim: crane lift from SAR 185, bedroom assembly from SAR 140, kitchen from SAR 370, AC from SAR 115 per unit. In Jeddah the crane starts from SAR 280 and AC removal alone from SAR 45. For small leftover items moved between two districts of Unaizah or Buraidah later, a dabab starts from SAR 45.

Splitting one load between two towns

We see this often: the father moves into a house in Unaizah, the married son into a flat in Al Rass or Buraidah, and everything leaves one Jeddah home. Instead of two trucks, we load one truck in two sections. The first stop’s items sit by the doors, the last stop’s at the front, with blankets and cardboard as a divider, and every box carries the town name in its own colour. The second drop is priced into the quote from the start; just tell us before loading day. If it comes up during loading, the crew has to rearrange the truck, which costs hours.

Route and weather

From Jeddah we take the Madinah expressway, use the ring road around Madinah, then Highway 60 to Al Hanakiyah and on to western Qassim near Uqlat As Suqur. After Al Hanakiyah stations are further apart, so the driver fuels early. Checkpoints are routine and the load list is enough.

Qassim summers are fierce after midday, so we arrive in the morning and unload before the heat peaks. Winters are cold, dawn fog settles near farms and valleys, and rain can turn farm tracks in Al Mithnab, Unaizah and Al Bukayriyah slippery. Sandy winds sometimes blow across open stretches; the driver slows down or waits.

What delivery looks like in each town

  • Unaizah: modern villa districts, older houses near the centre and many farms on the outskirts; we always check street width before sending the big truck.
  • Al Rass: a spread-out town on the western side with easy residential access and many rest houses.
  • Al Mithnab: the southernmost, with an agricultural character; many homes sit inside palm farms.
  • Al Bukayriyah and Al Badaye: mid-size towns with traditional houses and new villas; unloading is usually quick.
  • Riyadh Al Khabra and Uyun Al Jiwa: smaller towns where some homes are on side roads and a smaller vehicle may do the last stretch.

In Jeddah we collect from the north (Obhur North and South, Al Shati, Al Naeem, Al Zahra), the centre (Al Salamah, Al Rawdah, Al Faisaliyah, Al Rehab), the east (Al Safa, Al Marwah, Al Samer, Al Hamdaniyah, Al Harazat) and the south (Al Jamiah, Al Sanabel, Al Khumrah, Quwaizah).

Packing Jeddah furniture for Qassim’s climate

Wood that has lived in Jeddah’s humidity holds some of it and dries fast in Qassim. Sealed in film while damp, it sweats on the road. So the layer touching the wood is a cotton blanket or paper, film goes over it, and the edges can breathe. Rugs and floor mattresses must be completely dry before folding.

  • Full, numbered boxes labelled with town and room for split deliveries.
  • China and glass wrapped individually and stood on edge.
  • Mirrors and paintings between cardboard sheets with corner guards.
  • Floor seating in fabric bags, cushions in large boxes.
  • Fridge and freezer unplugged a day ahead, washer drained.

Loading and truck type

We always use a closed truck for household furniture on this route. Heavy pieces go low and forward, boxes above by weight, sofas in the middle among mattresses, glass upright against a padded wall. Straps are tightened after every layer and again after any partial unload at the first stop.

A shared load to Qassim suits a room or a few items without a tight date and costs less, but it waits for the truck to fill, and the delivery order between towns can be long if other customers are aboard. A full home needs a dedicated truck on your schedule.

Dismantling and assembly

Bedrooms, wardrobes and tables are dismantled and numbered in Jeddah, each with its screw bag, and rebuilt in the rooms you choose. We also lay out the majlis and rugs. Kitchens and AC units are extras booked in advance. In farm houses we check the power supply before installing ACs, since many are prepared in a hurry.

Sending urgent items by air

Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz International Airport lies west of Buraidah, reasonably close to Unaizah and Al Bukayriyah, and serves the whole region. A few urgent boxes, such as work papers, school clothes or a computer, can fly as domestic cargo from King Abdulaziz International in Jeddah in one to two days. Charges use actual or volumetric weight, whichever is higher: length × width × height in cm ÷ 6000. A 40 × 40 × 40 cm box counts as about 10.7 kg. Furniture stays on the truck. Ask for the air price with your quote.

Insurance and storage

Valuable pieces can be insured on request after we record a list and their condition. If the farm house or the new home in Unaizah or Al Rass is not finished, we store the furniture in a closed warehouse and deliver on request, priced by time and space. Gold, cash, documents, medicines and gas cylinders stay with you.

Worked example: Al Safa to Unaizah and Al Rass

A family in a two-storey traditional house in Al Safa, Jeddah: the father moving to a house in Unaizah, the son taking a bedroom, a small majlis and a fridge to his flat in Al Rass. The load: five bedrooms, two majlis, living room, aluminium kitchen, three ACs and about 70 boxes. Al Rass items went by the doors as the first stop, Unaizah items at the front, each town’s boxes in a different colour. Two carpenters and five movers finished loading by Asr; the truck drove overnight via Madinah, reached Al Rass in the morning and Unaizah before noon. The Rass bedroom took an hour, the Unaizah house was done that evening. The four-to-five-room tier starts from SAR 1,700, plus the second drop, the kitchen from SAR 370 and the ACs; the final price came after photos.

Checklist and common mistakes

  • Name the exact town and district and send a map pin.
  • For split deliveries, sort items before loading day.
  • Send a photo of the farm entrance or a narrow street.
  • Defrost the fridge and dry the washer a day ahead; keep documents, medicines and gold with you.
  • Avoid saying “Qassim” when the house is actually in Al Mithnab, asking for a second drop mid-loading, ignoring farm tracks after rain, folding damp rugs and unloading at summer midday.

How it works

  1. Send photos, town and both locations via the quote page.
  2. Get a quote with volume, truck, delivery points and extras.
  3. Dismantling, packing and loading in Jeddah, then the drive via Madinah.
  4. Unloading and assembly at each stop; packing waste leaves with us.

We also move in reverse from Unaizah, Al Rass, Al Mithnab and Al Bukayriyah to Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah. Buraidah itself has its own article, and we cover Jeddah to Hail, Riyadh, Al Kharj and the Eastern Province too.

Frequently asked questions

Can you deliver to Unaizah and Al Rass on one trip?

Yes. The truck is loaded in two sections with the first stop's items by the doors, and the second drop is priced in if you tell us before loading day.

How far is Al Mithnab from Buraidah?

About 65 km, south of Unaizah, so a move there can cost slightly more than to Buraidah.

Which Qassim towns do you serve?

Unaizah, Al Rass, Al Mithnab, Al Bukayriyah, Al Badaye, Riyadh Al Khabra and Uyun Al Jiwa, as well as Buraidah.

My home is on a farm in Unaizah. Can the truck reach it?

We check the track and gate from photos; on dirt or narrow roads a smaller vehicle covers the last stretch.

What does an apartment move to Al Rass cost?

A two- to three-bedroom apartment starts from SAR 1,120 for the full service, confirmed after photos.

How long is the drive from Jeddah to Unaizah?

11–13 hours via Madinah and Al Hanakiyah, roughly 950–980 km.

Does rain in Qassim delay delivery?

It can by a few hours when farm tracks turn slippery; we would rather wait than unload wet furniture.

Which airport serves Qassim for urgent boxes?

Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz International, west of Buraidah, with delivery in one to two days from Jeddah.

How are boxes for two towns kept apart?

Each box carries its town and room in a different colour, and the two sections are divided with blankets.

Do you install ACs in farm houses?

Yes on request, after checking the power supply; AC installation starts from SAR 115 per unit.

Do you move from Unaizah or Al Rass to Jeddah?

Yes, we run the reverse route from Qassim towns to Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah.
